School of Pharmacy of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore is one of the best institutes in the country and was established on Oct. 15, 2001.The Institute has dedicated young and qualified faculty from industry and professions. It has developed strong linkage with industry which has continuously provided it unstinted support and co-operation. It has a peaceful and congenial environment in a campus, impressive infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories and adequate library facilities.

Dr. Gajendra Pratap Choudhary is Professor and Head at the School of Pharmacy, DAVV, Indore. He has published around 102 papers in reputed national and international journals. His research focuses on phytochemical characterization along with herbal formulation development and phytopharmacology. Under his leadership, the department has collaborated with leading pharmaceutical industries and other research organizations for research, training and placement. He has also received various research awards and recognition for contributions in the field of pharmacy including certificate of appreciation for research by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore in the year 2018 & 2024.
