Centre of Ancient Indian mathematics is established in the School of Data Science and Forecasting in order of a resolution made by E.C. meeting date 17-01-2021 to promote the studies and awareness regarding Indian Contribution to Mathematics in Line of NEP-2020. Prof. Anupam Jain, Prof. of Mathematics in School of Data Science and forecasting is appointed as director of the Centre.

The operation of the centre started on Basant Panchami i.e. 5 Feb. 2022. Soon after inauguration, the Centre announced the six monthly Certificate Course on Ancient Indian Mathematics. It includes a paper on Vedic Mathematics too. Two Batches have been successfully completed in 22-23 & 23-24. The admission for the new batch will start soon.

On the proposal of the Director CAIM, DAVV, IKS Div. of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India Sanctioned an IKS Centre in jaina Mathematics to DAVV wide his order No. 02-28/IKS Centre/2//22-23/10 date 12-12-2022 and Prof. Anupam Jain appointed as P.I. During 01-01-23 – 28-02-25. Centre prepared a reference book on Jaina Mathematics according to the proposal. This book has been submitted to the Government of India and they are going to publish it soon.

On the basis of the excellent work done by Centre they have extended our Centre for two more years i.e. from 01-04-25 – 31-03-27 New Project of Critical Edition of Trishatika of Shridharacharya has been sanctioned.

III. Inauguration of IKS Centre in Jaina Mathematics, 02.Jan.2023

IV. Two days Research Proposal Writing workshop, 18-19 Jan 2023

V. Workshop on Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam on 26-09-23 in Collaboration with Globle peace foundation.

VI. Establishment of IKS Centre in TMU, Moradabad and Mandsour University.

VII. Developed departmental library and Manuscript exhibition at IKS Centre.
