Centre of Excellence in Logistics was established by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya by signing Memorandum of agreement with the Logistics Sector Skill Council of India. Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) established by the Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE) through National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and promoted by Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL).

Centre of Excellence in Logistics (DAVV-CL), with the objective to conduct Logistics Skill Training Programmes and taking up Research and Consultancy Projects. intending to create human resources with necessary Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude for employment in Logistics Sector , establish an apprentice ship based 2 year M.Sc program in data science for Logistics and 4 Yr B.Tech. program with specialisation in Logistics. Apart from this MSc programme a new Program , M. Tech in Data Science for Logistics and Supply Chain Management was introduced by Centre of Excellence in Logistics These programs will be beneficial for the students and industry in their futuristic requirements. Students will have the opportunity to get placement in the industry. intending to create human resources with necessary Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude for employment in Logistics Sector.
