Dr. Laxman Shinde is currently serving as the Head of the Department of School of Education, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore with more than 26 years of teaching and research experience.

Dr. Laxman Shinde has been actively contributing to the advancement of teacher education and innovation in the area of Education and Teacher Education. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya , Indore and has guided several postgraduate and doctoral research scholars. His areas of specialization include Educational Technology, Sociology of Education and Teacher education.

Dr. Laxman Shinde has published more than 75 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, and has authored 05 chapters in edited books. Under his leadership, the department has strengthened its academic curriculum and collaborated with different schools, teacher training institutions and DIET’s for research, training, and placement.

Dr. Laxman Shinde firmly believes in fostering an environment that encourages innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and practical problem-solving among students. As an academic leader, Dr. Laxman Shinde is affiliated with academic and professional bodies such as -Dean, Faculty of Education, DAVV, Indore. Editor in various Research Journals. President of the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Teachers Association (DEVTA), Indore. Vice President of Madhya Pradesh University Teachers Association, MP State Universities. Worked as Subject Expert in B.Ed. & M.Ed Course at the IGNOU Centers. Through his vision and dedication, the Department of School of Education, DAVV continues to nurture young teachers and teacher educators to excel in academics, innovation research in the field of education and teacher education, contributing to growth of education at regional and national levels.
