Dr. Rubina Chaudhary is currently serving as the Head of the School of Energy and Environmental Studies at faculty of engineering sciences, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. With more than 35 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Rubina Chaudhary has been actively contributing to the Environment and Energy education and innovation in emerging sustainable technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Ganga River Water from Aligarh Muslim University, 1989 and has guided several postgraduate and doctoral research scholars. Her areas of specialization include Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, Hazardous Waste Management, Solidification / Stabilization Process, Solar Detoxification Process, Environmental Impact Assessment and Climate Change. Dr. Rubina Chaudhary has published more than 200 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, and has 1 edited chapters Dehydration of Vegetables Through Waste Heat of Vapour Compression Refrigeration System. Under her leadership, the department has strengthened its academic curriculum, introduced industry-aligned electives, and collaborated with leading organizations for research, training, and placement. Dr. Rubina Chaudhary firmly believes in fostering an environment that encourages innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and practical problem-solving among students. As an academic leader, Dr. Rubina Chaudhary is affiliated with professional bodies like IWWA and has served on various national-level committees, boards of studies, and accreditation panels. She has also received recognition for contributions in the field of Environment. Through her vision and dedication, the School of Energy and Environmental Studies at faculty of engineering sciences, at DAVV continues to nurture young engineers to excel in academics, research, and industry, contributing to technological growth at regional, national, and global levels.
